Charlize Theron showed off her amazing legs on Wednesday when she attended The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Women In Entertainment Gala in Los Angeles.
The Oscar winner, 47, stunned in black and white designer shorts for the A-list event where she received the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.
Before hitting the stage, Theron walked the red carpet and opened up about parenthood, telling Extra about the values she hopes to instill in her daughters.

During a red carpet interview with Extra correspondent Terry Serymour, Theron shared that her two children don’t necessarily view their mother’s big career in Hollywood as that important.
“They just think it’s work,” Theron said. “I don’t think any of that makes sense to them.”
Theron has two adopted daughters: Jackson, 10, and August, seven.
The Young Adult star went on to describe how she recently pushed her daughters out of their comfort zone during a summer shoot in Rome.
“It was summer vacation and they kind of didn’t want to do anything,” Theron explained.
Charlize described how her two daughters reluctantly did “half**ed” activities, leading the formidable star to say, “You just need to have a backbone.”

Another inspirational figure in Theron’s life and career has been legendary Hollywood executive Sherry Lansing, 78, who bills herself as one of Charlize’s “greatest mentors”.
“I’m here today because of women like her,” Theron said of Lansing.
But the Long Shot star reserved his ultimate praise for his mother Gerda, who shot Theron’s alcoholic father in self-defense after threatening them both with a gun in 1991.
Delighted with his mother, Theron said, “If I hadn’t done something with my life, I would have been a waste of mankind, just being lifted up and nurtured by this pioneer.”
