Heather Rae Young has shared her co-parenting struggles with Christina Hall in a new interview.
The Selling Sunset star, 35, who is married to Hall’s ex-husband, 39, Tarek El Moussa, 41, shared with Entertainment Tonight: “We’ve definitely had our ups and downs, and they’ve had highs and lows.”
The statement comes seven months after she was publicly dragged by Tarek at her son Brayden and Christina’s football game, following a sideline spat.

The father-of-two shares daughter Taylor, 12, and son Brayden, seven, with Hall.
“I felt like I was always second, and no one ever made me feel that way, but I think when your partner had such a long relationship with the former spouse and a lot of love, and that it was a very public divorce,” Heather says of her first relationship with Hall.
“You get there and fall in love with each other, but you still think about the ex,” added Heather – who is currently expecting her first child with Tarek.

‘Always second’: “I felt like I was always second, and no one ever made me feel that way, but I think when your partner had such a long relationship with the previous spouse and a lot of love, and it was very public divorce,’ Heather revealed
“I kind of had to deal with my own feelings while falling in love with a man, raising kids, starting a whole new family, and filming my own TV shows. It wasn’t always perfect,’ the reality star continued.
“We definitely had ups and downs, and they had ups and downs, and I think she realized how much I love kids and they are number one for me on everything. So, all drama aside, kids are the most important thing to all of us.
In May this year, El Moussa was pictured pulling his wife away by the arm from an argument with Christina.

The argument on the sideline didn’t end there either, later Tarek and Christina’s new husband, Josh Hall, came face to face and had to be separated by the football coach.
Christina was married to Tarek from 2009 to 2018. After their separation, she married British TV presenter Ant Anstead.
She also shared a son named Hudson with Anstead, 43, who is currently dating actress Renée Zellweger, 53.
She then split from Ant in September 2020 and announced she was reverting to her maiden name of Haack in February 2021, before marrying Hall in September this year.

Meanwhile, Tarek and Heather had a small wedding in Montecito, Calif., last year with 150 guests.
Speaking to People, Heather said she and Tarek are “best friends, we’re true soul mates” and that their “love is so rare and so special.” She continued, “This is the love I’ve always dreamed of all my life.”
Agreeing with his wife, Tarek told the outlet that he’s “just thrilled to be living this life with her.”

“We have both babies, we have a family and we have a very bright future,” he said, referring to his two children with ex-wife Christina Hall.
In July, Heather and Tarek hosted a festive gender reveal party and then announced they were expecting a son.
