Kody and Robyn Brown
When conflict arises between Kody Brown and his sister wives, his fourth wife Robyn says she has often been the scapegoat for other women.
“When he does something they don’t like, I get blamed,” the 44-year-old TLC star said on Sunday’s show. Sister wives: tete-a-tete episode.
“Maybe I’m an easy target,” she told host Sukanya Krishnan. “Because I tend to just take it. And not be jerky about it. I don’t fight, it’s not in my nature to fight. I have to be really, really hard on myself to fight. I’m just absolutely heartier.”

The Brown family has been in turmoil since Christine and Kody announced their separation in November 2021, after more than 25 years of marriage.
More recently, Kody, 53, and his second wife Janelle Brown confirmed they had separated, quickly followed by news that he had decided to end his 32-year spiritual marriage to Meri Brown.
As a result, Robyn – the only wife Kody has ever been legally married to – admitted in a precedent one on one episode that she has felt in recent years like other women “handed over [Kody] to me and said, ‘We don’t want to spend time with him, basically.'”

Just a week after Meri confirmed the end of their decades-long marriage, the 51-year-old guesthouse owner shared a cryptic Instagram post with a familiar photo in which a book half-covering her face and the text overlap: “There is so much more to the story…”
“All is not always as it seems,” she wrote. “Often we accept one version of a story as the truth because it matches the narrative we’ve created, or what we want to believe. It’s not always about what you’re looking at, but also where you’re looking from. Everyone has their own experiences and their own truths.”
Meri finished the caption, “Remember, no matter how flat the pancake, it always has two sides.”

Later on Sunday one on one special, Robyn addressed her strained relationship with Christine.
“At the beginning it was very difficult… It was sarcastic comments, not including me in things, letting me know how things were going to sort of go. It was difficult at the beginning, it absolutely was,” she admitted.
Still, she says, “I kept thinking we were working on stuff.”

Kody, however, has long been disillusioned about reconciling with Christine, even to the point where he now questions Christine’s motives – and doubts she has any chance of finding love in the future.
“Breaking up a marriage when you’re not in love, I understand. But to appease her guilt, she blamed me for everything, including her children and those of Janelle, ”he continues. “And therefore, combined with the issues of COVID, those relationships have been taken away from me, including – and this is the one I don’t understand – Janelle.”
He repeated, “I get it. She has to do this to find another man who will trust her. Because if she leaves a good man, most guys are going to say, ‘It’s risky.'”
