What was Renner doing when he was injured?

There have been various reports of what exactly Renner was doing before he was run over by the snow plow.

But, according to Sheriff Balaam’s Tuesday, Jan. 3, press conference, Renner was a “great neighbor” and cleared the houses around him of snow.

Then, at some point, the actor went to retrieve his personal vehicle driven by a family member, which had become stuck in the snow.

Once he managed to tow his vehicle from its blocked location, he got out of the PistenBully to speak to a family member when the PistenBully started rolling.

What are the police investigating?

Police say the investigation into Renner’s accident is ongoing.

At Sheriff Balaam’s press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 3, he said they were doing what they normally would after any major accident.

At the moment, the PistenBully is in their possession while they analyze it to “rule out any mechanical faults” that could have caused it to start rolling.

However, they do not suspect ‘foul play’ and believe it was simply a ‘tragic’ incident.
