Love Is Blind personality Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee took to Instagram on Monday to criticize the show’s host Nick Lachey following a confrontation on the show’s season two reunion episode in regards to his career as a veterinarian.
In a post that was later removed from the site, Chatterjee, 33, wrote, ‘Reunion summed up in a photo. You put a doctor on the show… of course you were going to see some critical thinking.
‘Speaking of which, @nicklachey you’re a massive t*** for your comment dragging vets. You do realize that becoming a veterinarian considerably more difficult than becoming a human doc right?’
The latest: Love Is Blind personality Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee, 33, took to Instagram on Monday to critique the show’s host Nick Lachey, 48, following a confrontation on the show’s season two reunion episode in regards to his career as a veterinarian
He added: ‘Also consider learning how to be an impartial host before the season 3 reunion airs. Sorry I didn’t play along with your narrative like the rest of these puppets. Say hi to @vanessalachey for me.’
In a picture accompanying the post, Shake was seen arguing with Lachey, 48, who said that his veterinary career was the result of him not understanding how to treat people. The image saw the show’s Shayne Jansen, Kyle Abrams and Salvador Perez looking bewildered at the exchange.
Chatterjee said in an Instagram Stories post that the post aimed at Lachey ‘got taken down,’ adding, ‘Censor much?’
Chatterjee subsequently said the only person he had an attraction to on the show was Lachey’s wife Vanessa Lachey, 41.
Chatterjee took to Instagram Monday to follow up on his feelings about his career
Chatterjee said on the meeting Friday, ‘We all have our physical preferences. Listen, every woman in here is beautiful. I think you’re all beautiful. I’m not attracted to all of you. Unfortunately, the only one I’m attracted to is Vanessa – and I wish I wasn’t! I wish I wasn’t. The point is, it’s not a choice. You don’t choose. It’s natural, baby. We’re animals.’
Nick then said, ‘No, you treat animals – we’re human beings – there’s a big difference.’
Chatterjee had faced criticism that he was too focused on looks, as the show seeks to make matches without the contestants seeing one another.
‘Love is not purely blind to me,’ Chatterjee said on the reunion episode. ‘I want it to be partially blind. I want it to be: ‘Love Is Blurry,’ OK?’
Chatterjee also faced criticism on the show for stating he wasn’t attracted to former fiancée Deepti Vempati, 31, who wound up ending the relationship at the altar prior to exchanging vows.

Vempati told US Weekly that she ‘heard from other cast members’ that Chatterjee had said unflattering things behind her back.
‘I just don’t have room for anybody in my life that doesn’t see me in the best way,’ Vempati told the outlet. ‘And who could even think those types of thoughts, I guess … I knew what I had to do.’
Chatterjee last week told People that he was ‘the happiest’ he’s been as he’s focused on helping himself.
‘When you prioritize yourself – I think that’s the best relationship advice I could give somebody, honestly,’ he said. ‘When I started focusing on my goals, what I want out of life, my mission, everything else just started to fall in place … and that becomes magnetic. I’m in a good spot right now, despite what it may look like.’
Love Is Blind can be seen on Netflix.
