Joe Gorga went on a messy rant about his fragile relationship with his sister Teresa Giudice at BravoCon on Saturday.
During a “Real Housewives of New Jersey” panel moderated by Page Six’s Evan Real, a fan asked if the reality TV star and his wife, Melissa Gorga, had ever been hesitant about joining the show — given that Giudice was already a teammate on the show.
The Bravo fan questioned whether it was wise to join a “conflict-focused” reality series, arguing, “There was family drama before you joined.”
Melissa attempted to answer the question, explaining that she and Joe made the decision together and that despite the rumors, “Teresa knew 100%, it was never behind her back.”
But before she could continue, her husband rose up to passionately defend their decision to become Bravolebrities – and apparently slammed his sister for not welcoming them into the franchise.
“It’s the shit that pisses me off,” he shouted as he stood at the edge of the stage.
Gorga, who has run several businesses, compared casting to a construction job, saying “[If I] built this building and I have a cousin who does electricity [then] I give you a job.
“It’s not that we’re competing,” he said. “F–k that. We’re family.
“I’m tired of hearing this bullshit,” he reiterated. “Because you know what? If you love yourself, don’t you? And we are a family, you help each other up.
The sibling relationship seems distant at the moment as the Gorgas didn’t attend Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louis” Ruelas after an explosive fight broke out while filming the series’ season 13 finale. Cheer.
The tensions between the siblings have played out on the reality series for years. Clearly, Gorga has had enough.
“At this point, I don’t know what else to say. I’m tired. I’m tired of talking about it for 13 years,” Gorga told Page Six exclusively on Friday, referring to the many ups and downs of his relationship with Giudice.
“I’m 48, and I’m happy I woke up this morning and happy to have healthy kids, a beautiful wife, a beautiful life, and I just want to be happy, man,” he said. he continued. “This kind of drama ruins my life.”
