Robyn Brown may be the latest “Sister Wives” star, but she’s not everyone’s favorite.
Christine Brown’s daughter Gwendlyn Brown has admitted she’s not a big fan of her ‘mother-in-law’ and the pair don’t have a close relationship.
“I don’t really like her as a person,” the YouTuber, 21, said of Robyn in a video uploaded Wednesday. “Looking at her makes me like her less, that’s for sure.”
In the video, she filmed her reaction to the September episode where her mother revealed she was moving to Utah and leaving her father, Kody Brown, 53.
“I was like, ‘Are you leaving? Good for you,'” Gwendlyn said, recalling her mother’s decision.
She continued, “She told me she was moving out and divorcing my dad at the same time, so I was all excited for her. Obviously I love her, and obviously I visit her all the time but she was coming home and I was happy for her. And I didn’t really like the relationship they had. And she’s doing really well now.
Gwendlyn has also been candid about her relationship with her father.
“I am on each of their sides because each of them talks about it. Not that I should choose sides because they are my parents,” she explained.
Kody first married Meri in 1990 before being joined by his second wife Janelle three years later. Christine soon followed as third wife in 1994.
Once Robyn came on the scene, Kody divorced Meri in 2014 so he could marry his fourth wife. The patriarch shares 18 children with the four women.
Apparently, Christine feels the same as her daughter, as she previously referred to Robyn as Kody’s “favorite”.
Ultimately, she ended her 25-year “spiritual union” with her husband last year.
Kody then announced his breakup with Janelle during the “Sister Wives: One on One” special.
“Yeah, we’re separated,” he confirmed, with Janelle later noting that they had been “several months apart.”
Shortly after, it was revealed that Kody and Meri had separated after 32 years together, 24 of which were legally married.
In a confessional, Kody revealed, “No, I don’t consider myself married to Meri.”
When she heard the admission during “Sister Wives: One on One,” she explained that “he just made the decision. I never heard him say that to me.
Robyn is now his only wife.
