The “Good Morning America” co-hosts shrugged off the alleged affair plaguing their family morning show.
Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Whit Johnson held the office anchor Thursday morning and continued to report the news as usual, with Stephanopoulos sharing his interviews with former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried and French President Emmanuel Macron .
The trio never mentioned anything to do with fellow “GMA 3” co-workers Amy Robach and TJ Holmes, who reportedly had a months-long affair.
A source told Page Six on Wednesday that the romance began in March, around the time Robach and Holmes were training together for the New York Half Marathon.
“They have a very warm on-air relationship, but that’s what you’d expect. But they’ve been very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair a secret,” a “GMA” staffer told us. “.
“The ‘GMA’ producers are shocked to learn they are having an affair,” the staffer added.
Robach, 49, has been married to actor Andrew Shue since 2010, and Holmes, 45, married his wife, Marilee Fiebig, the same year. Although Robach has no children with Shue, she does have two children with her first husband, Tim McIntosh.
Holmes has three children, two of whom he shares with his ex Amy Fershon and one with Fiebig.
Sources tell us that Robach and Holmes separated from their spouses in August.
In light of the alleged affair revelation, Holmes’ 2020 Instagram post celebrating his 10th anniversary with Fiebig has gone viral because he teased her there giving “reasons” for leaving.
Robach and Holmes have since deactivated their Instagram accounts, while Shue has deleted all images of his now estranged wife.
Photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed the ABC broadcasters recently getting closer and holding hands. The video also showed Holmes grabbing Robach’s buttocks as she leaned into the trunk of a car to remove an object during an upstate New York cabin getaway.
Eyewitnesses told Page Six that Robach and Holmes were also “very friendly and cuddly” at JFK airport when they returned from Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September.
In a photo obtained by Page Six, the duo can be seen laughing and smiling together while waiting at baggage claim.
Representatives for Robach and Holmes did not respond to Page Six’s numerous requests for comment.
