After Adidas severed ties with Kanye West over his anti-Semitic rants, former employees claimed the rapper showed his employees pornography and explicit images of ex-wife Kim Kardashian as a ” bullying tactic.
In a scathing report from Rolling Stone on Tuesday, a young creative claimed West showed him an explicit photo of the reality star, 41, during a job interview in 2018.
“My wife just sent me this,” the “Heartless” rapper reportedly told her while posting a “very revealing and personal” photo of Kardashian on his phone.
At least one other former employee is said to have recalled West, 43, showing an explicit video of Kardashian – who filed for divorce from the rapper in 2021 – to Yeezy’s creative team the same year.
Asked about West showing photos of the Skims founder, a third person apparently confirmed the allegations. They claimed that West “wasn’t afraid to show explicit images or talk about situations that should be kept private.”
These incidents were also detailed in an open letter titled “The Truth About Yeezy: A Call to Action for Adidas Leadership”, which was obtained by Rolling Stone.
In it, numerous high-ranking Yeezy employees called out Adidas executives for turning off their “moral compass” and allegedly allowing West to create an “abusive” corporate culture.
Employees noted that the public only got a taste of West’s problematic behavior when he posted a 30-minute documentary on YouTube in which he showed Adidas executives pornography – a common occurrence according to insiders.
In the Fisheye lens footage, the 45-year-old held his phone horizontally in front of the uncomfortable business people while playing a video.
“Is it a porn movie? one asked, to which West replied, “Yeah.”
“Jesus Christ,” retorted one of the men, whose face was blurred.
“Come on man. Come on,” the man said, pushing the phone away as West tried to force them to watch more.
Former employees further claimed to the outlet that West would constantly show pornographic images and videos, including his own sex tapes.
“I think it was a tactic to break a person down and establish his unwavering allegiance to them, to test and destroy people’s boundaries,” one person said, while another claimed West was specifically targeting female employees.
Reps for Kardashian and West did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
West had previously opened up about his “porn addiction”, saying it had “destroyed” his family.
“Hollywood is a giant brothel. Pornography destroyed my family. I deal with addiction.
West shares four children — North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm — with the Skkn founder, whom he married in 2014.
However, earlier this month he vowed to give up porn, sex and talking for an entire month – which he quickly failed to do.
“I take a 30-day cleanse. A verbal fast. No alcohol. No adult movies. No sex”, the disgraced rapper written via Twitter.
