A very festive royal outing! The Prince and Princess of Wales are spotted taking Prince George and Charlotte to British Lapland alongside nanny Maria

The Prince and Princess of Wales enjoyed a family outing to British Lapland with their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Prince William and Kate, both 40, were seen leaving the Ascot-based Christmas-themed park by an eagle-eyed fan, who shared a picture of the royal group on Instagram.

The royal couple were pictured with George, nine, and Charlotte, seven, as well as their Norland nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo. It is unclear whether four-year-old Prince Louis also joined them for the outing.

Appearing discreetly, Kate opted for a coffee-coloured wrap coat, paired with brown Chelsea boots and a navy beanie, while William wore blue jeans, a quilted jacket and a matching green flat cap.

Charlotte, dressed in a blue jacket and red trousers, George and William all wore comforters as they left the festive attraction in December.

Meanwhile, George wore a blue quilted coat, jeans and a patterned beanie for the outing with his parents to the Christmas theme park, which features a toy factory, magical forest and reindeer.

News of their exit comes after the family spent Christmas at Sandringham with King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla and the rest of the Royal Family.

Kate beamed as she held the hand of her youngest son Prince Louis, four, as she walked with William, George and Charlotte on their way to St Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk estate the day of Christmas.

The mother-of-three looked typically stylish in a festive, upcycled coat, believed to come from British designer Alexander McQueen.

She paired the statement piece with a Philip Treacy hat containing a feather and eye-catching earrings by French brand Sézane as the group made their way to the service.

The royal bursar recycled the military-style coat to attend an engagement at Bradford Town Hall in January 2020, shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were stepping down as members of the Royal family.

For the Christmas outing, the princess paired her structured coat with tailored black heeled boots by Gianvito Rossi.

She wore her thick brown locks and cascaded over her shoulders, swept away from her face and opted for minimal makeup to enhance her natural beauty.

The Princess of Wales beamed with happiness as she made her way to the service alongside her husband, ahead of the other members of the Royal Family.

She looked stylish in her festive attire as she waved to well-wishers on their way to Norfolk.

It was the Royal Family’s first Christmas at Sandringham in two years after the late Queen stayed at Windsor for the 2020 and 2021 holiday season due to the coronavirus pandemic – and the first time the family has spent the holidays without the late monarch.
