Fraser is currently making the rounds on the awards circuit after The Whale debuted in theaters last month after months of anticipation from fans and critics.

It is based on the play of the same name by Samuel D. Hunter, and the playwright also wrote the screenplay for the film.

In addition to Fraser and Chau, the film’s cast included impressive performances from Sadie Sink and Ty Simpkins.

The feature centers on a reclusive English teacher (Fraser) who tries to mend a relationship with his daughter (Sink).

The film’s development wasn’t officially announced until 2021, when its director and star signed on to work on the project.

Physical production of the feature film took place in New York State the same year.

The Whale had its world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival, which took place last September, before it was released to the public last month.

The film was met with a mixed response from critics, although Fraser, Sink and Chau’s performances were praised by many.
