Aaron Taylor-Johnson has sat down with 007 producers amid rumors he’s the next James Bond.
The actor, 32, sat down to discuss the iconic role following Daniel Craig’s exit from the franchise following his fifth appearance as a secret agent in 2021’s No Time To Die.
According to Puck News, Aaron spoke with producer Barbara Broccoli and sources say the reunion went “very well” after he allegedly filmed a secret audition late last year.

However, the source went on to say that nothing has been officially confirmed and it’s unclear what the next steps might be.
MailOnline has contacted reps for Aaron and Barbara for comment.
In December, it was reported that Aaron had filmed scenes as a secret agent, filming the memorable “gunshot footage” seen in movies over the years.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Aaron impressed bosses so much that he filmed one of the franchise’s famous teaser scenes, which all actors do. This move brings him one step closer to signing a ‘a deal.
They added, “Brand bosses have been truly impressed with his unique blend of acting intensity and impressive action movie slate.”

The publication reported a month earlier that Aaron had been a hit with producers and particularly impressed producer Barbara.
“Aaron went for a screen test to be the next Bond in September and the producers and Barbara loved him. He’s now one of the favorites,’ a source told the publication at the time.
Aaron, who is married to Fifty Shades of Gray director Sam Taylor-Johnson, 55, has starred in the films Kick-Ass, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Godzilla.

It follows reports that Idris Elba has given up “years of talks” with movie bosses to become the next Bond, paving the way for a new 007.
Bookmakers William Hill then put Henry Cavill in the lead at 5/2, Régé Jean-Page at odds of 4/1, followed by Tom Hardy and James Norton both at 6/1 and Chiwetel Ejiofor at 7/1.
Henry, 39, recently revealed he is leaving The Witcher, with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth playing the role of Geralt of Rivia.
Daniel Craig, 54, has starred in five of the Bond films, from Casino Royale to No Time to Die.
