And Ke Huy Quan reunited with Indy himself, Harrison Ford, at the D23 Expo last month after 38 years.
The actor, 51, was at the event to announce he was joining the cast of the Marvel series Loki, when he learned Harrison, 80, would also be there.

Speaking to Kyle Buchanan of The New York Times, he recalled, “We were at the D23 event and I was told Harrison was going to be there.”
“We’re in this green room with so many actors and producers and directors, and the person who was assigned to help me said, ‘Harrison Ford is just outside the green room. Would you like to go say hello?
He said Harrison was chatting with his Indiana Jones 5 co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge when he approached him, fearing the actor might recognize him after nearly 40 years.

He said, “As I walk close, my heart races. I think, “Is he going to recognize me? The last time he saw me, I was a little kid.”
He continued, “As I get closer, he turns and points his finger at me, and he has that classic, famous, grumpy Harrison Ford look.
‘I’m like, ‘Oh my God, he probably thinks I’m a fan and he’s going to tell me not to come near him.
‘But he looks at me and points at me and says, ‘Are you Short Round?

Ke Huy sweetly gushed: ‘When I wrapped him in my arms, all those wonderful memories came back. It was so comfortable. It was amazing, and he’s an amazing man – one of the most generous men on the planet.
