Liam Payne has hit back at a troll who claimed the One Direction star’s girlfriend was only with him for the money.
The singer, 29, and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, 23, made their red carpet debut as a couple at the British Fashion Awards earlier this month, but despite this Liam said he had no “never felt a love like this before”.
But it seems not everyone is convinced about the relationship, as a fan sent him a DM warning Liam that Kate was after his money.

Liam responded by capturing the post and posting it to his Instagram Stories and gushing about his newfound romance.
He said: ‘I have to say you could tell me anything and I couldn’t be turned, I’ve never felt a love like I do for Katelyn. We make ourselves better.
Defending her against accusations of gold diggers, he said, “If it was just for the money, I’d give it my all.”
