And now it has been reported that Nick Carter, 42, has written a “very moving” song about his “roller coaster relationship” with his late brother, who died aged 34.
It is also claimed that the Backstreet Boys crooner included never-before-seen childhood footage of the pair together in the track’s music video.

According to TMZ, Nick wrote and recorded a song about his “roller coaster relationship” with Aaron.
Sources told the publication: “Nick started working on the song shortly after Aaron’s death in November and as you’d expect – given the brothers’ history – it’s a very moving.”
The song is claimed to “express Nick’s unconditional love for Aaron and his grief over his brother who seemingly never finds peace in his life”.
The publication also reports that the music video for the track has already been filmed and includes never-before-seen childhood footage of the brothers together.

Nick – who collapsed on stage at London’s O2 while performing with the Backstreet Boys less than 24 hours after his brother’s death – had a fractured relationship with Aaron.
After Aaron’s passing, Nick posted several photos of the two of them together and wrote, “My heart was broken today.”
He continued, “Even though my brother and I had a complicated relationship, my love for him never faded.”

“I always held out hope that he would one day walk a healthy path and eventually find the help he so desperately needed.”
The Nick legend then discussed his complicated feelings surrounding Aaron’s heartbreaking death and addressed the element of his younger brother’s long-standing struggle with addiction.
He wrote: “Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss. But the truth is, addiction and mental illness are the real villains here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know.
In 2019, Aaron revealed on “The Doctors” that he had been diagnosed with “multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety and manic depression,” according to CNN.

Following her death, Aaron’s rep said he and Nick were working to iron out their differences before the tragedy.
The former child pop star previously accused Nick of trying to put him under conservatorship, similar to the one placed on Britney Spears.
In 2019, Nick filed a restraining order against Aaron, alleging he threatened to kill his pregnant wife and unborn child.
Nick wrote at the time: ‘After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we had to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today.

Aaron responded to the restraining order at the time by tweeting, “So my brother just got a restraining order against me.” And I just got served lol.’
‘Take care of you. @NickCarter we’re done for life,’ he continued. “I haven’t seen him for four years. And I don’t intend to… I’m stunned by the charges against me, and I don’t wish harm on anyone, especially my family.
