Ryan Seacrest made it clear he thinks Andy Cohen snubbed him when they taped their side-by-side New Year’s Eve specials in New York’s Times Square on Saturday.
The 48-year-old American Idol vet said on the morning show Live! Along with Kelly and Ryan, Cohen did not recognize him as he stood just 10 feet away from him. He then added that Anderson Cooper, however, was cordial.
But Ryan’s TV co-host Kelly Ripa – who is close friends with Cohen – interrupted Seacrest and argued that Andy had tried to say hello but couldn’t get Ryan’s attention after several attempts.

To fight! Ryan Seacrest has made it clear he thinks Andy Cohen snubbed him when they taped their New Year’s Eve specials side by side. Ryan said on the morning show Live With Kelly And Ryan that Cohen doesn’t l didn’t recognize as he stood only 10 feet away from him.
It all seems to come down to what he/she said in what has been an ongoing feud between Cohen and Seacrest over the years.
The subject was brought up when Ryan seemed upset by the alleged snub from Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live host Cohen.
“It was funny because my big stage was right in front of Anderson and Andy,” Ryan began. “When I wasn’t working, I was trying to get their attention.”
Seacrest then explained that they were so close that they were possibly on each other’s screens.

Ryan’s Story: Seacrest shared, “It was funny because my big stage was right in front of Anderson and Andy. When I wasn’t working I was trying to get their attention. Seen with Liza Koshy
“I thought maybe I was in the [CNN camera] shot,” he added. “I just wanted to wave and say hello.”
Next, Ryan gave props to Andy’s co-star Cooper.
‘They have a great show. And Anderson, the best. He turns around and says, “Good show. Class. Class. Andy didn’t turn around,” Seacrest said.
Ripa didn’t seem to think Seacrest’s story held water. She said it didn’t happen that way.
The morning show queen was not on the scene as she had no hosting duties on New Year’s Eve; instead, she was at home in New York with husband Mark Consuelos.

But Ryan Loves Anderson: Next, Ryan gave props to Andy’s show and co-star Anderson Cooper. ‘They have a great show. And Anderson, the best. He turns around and says, “Good show. Class. Class. Andy didn’t turn around,’ Seacrest said

She says no: Kelly Ripa, who celebrated at home with husband Mark Consuelos, said Andy tried to say hello
But she said she spoke to Cohen. ‘That’s not true. He said he was trying to get your attention,” Ripa quipped.
‘Truly?’ Ryan replied. “Honestly…we’re within 10 feet of each other doing the show.”
It comes after Ryan and Andy got into a fight over booze. A week ago, Seacrest told Entertainment Weekly that it was a “good idea” for CNN to ban on-air drinking.
Last year, Cohen, 54, said he had been drinking in the open. And he caused all the controversy by referencing ABC show Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve when he referred to Ryan Seacrest’s “band of losers playing”.

Mean jab: Last year, Cohen, 54, caused all the controversy by referring to ABC show Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve when he referred to Ryan Seacrest’s “group of losers doing player”
“I’m not advocating drinking when you’re on the air,” Ryan said in what was thought to be a snap at Andy.
‘I don’t know how it started as a tradition, but it’s probably a good idea [to scale back]CNN.’
Seacrest then referenced Andy and co-host Anderson.
The media personality said, “There are some pretty respectable people or at least one, aren’t there?” I think there’s a serious journalist and then a friend of mine having a lot of fun, but that’s probably a good idea. Although viewers probably want to drink more.

Ryan said to quit the booze: In November, CNN decided to tone it down as Ryan came out in favor of the decision, saying, “I’m not advocating drinking when you’re on the air. ” I don’t know how it started as a tradition, but it’s probably a good idea [to scale back]CNN’
“But I think they had something to say about my show at one point which was I’m sure because of the alcohol because I don’t think they would say what they said about our artists if they didn’t drink. But, you know, I think our show is bigger and wider and we won’t be drinking until 1:05 in the morning.
Seacrest then proved he had a sense of humor by joking that he would try to entice his fellow hosts.
He concluded, “Although I might send them Casa Dragones tequila just to tempt them while they’re on the air.”
On last year’s show, Cohen threw verbal jabs at Seacrest during his live show as theirs were happening simultaneously.
“If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s loser band playing,” Cohen told CNN viewers during the co-host with anchor Cooper.

Bad call: Cohen (seen on WWHL) later expressed regret and admitted he was ‘overserved’ as he claimed he was ‘stupid and drunk and he felt it’
“I’m sorry, but if you’re watching ABC, you’re not watching anything,” Cohen added rudely.
Cohen later expressed regret and admitted he was “overserved” as he claimed he was “stupid and drunk and he felt it”.
He later said on his SiriusXM Andy Cohen Live: “The only thing I regret saying, the only thing is that I criticized the ABC show and I really like Ryan Seacrest and that’s a awesome guy.”
It comes after Kathy Griffin shared an old TMZ clip from five years ago.

Lashing out: Kathy Griffin lashed out at Cohen for the way the Real Housewives creator treated her after he replaced her as co-host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live five years ago by posting ‘ Ugh. Every year someone sends me this clip around New Year’s Eve’
It showed Real Housewives creator Cohen trying to be funny by standing in for the comedian on the CNN show, in which he claimed not to know her.
The cut turned into a scar that continues to hurt the Emmy winner who wrote on Instagram Saturday, ‘Ugh. Every year someone sends me this clip around New Years Eve.
Referring to the Watch What’s Happening Live host, she continued, “This guy was my boss for years.” I decided whether or not I worked at Bravo. Can you imagine seeing your ex boss on TMZ like… that? Ouch!’
She referenced rival show Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Seacrest and guests including Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus, writing: “Anyway, can’t wait to watch Miley and Dolly tonight .”
