Meek Mill responded after Kanye West rejected him on Clubhouse.
The increasingly controversial Chicago rapper teamed up with Clubhouse regular Wack 100 to host an impromptu Q&A on the social media platform over the weekend, where he billed $20 to fans to tune in.
During the approximately 50-minute chat, Ye again addressed the backlash over his “White Lives Matter” shirt and suggested the powers that be had rounded up a number of celebrities to call him out on the controversial garment.
The idea that Meek, who has been an outspoken critic of Kanye for the past few years, was part of the all-star group asked to vet him was apparently hilarious to the GOOD Music founder.
“I’m going to put ‘White Lives Matter’ on a T-shirt and they’re like, ‘Oh, you know what? Let’s get some celebrities. Let’s get Puff Daddy, let’s get Dave Chappelle, let’s get Meek Mill. who made anyone think Meek Mills could tell me anything?” Kanye said before laughing uncontrollably.
“No, that’s the funniest thing ever. Yo man, I’m about to start crying laughing. Someone thought Meek Mills…sorry. No I’m sorry. I’m not even going to get to my joke.
Even after Wack 100 reminded him that Meek is a “gangsta,” Yeezy struggled to contain his amusement. “Naww, I’m literally in tears,” he continued before finally regaining his composure. “OK, wait… Phew… OK, that wasn’t my joke but somehow that part was really funny to me.”

The Clubhouse session was eventually shut down after Kanye West made even more problematic comments, at one point suggesting that Jews are being used as “middlemen” by the Chinese to “police” black people.
“We took action to end a conversation yesterday because it violated our policies,” Clubhouse said in a statement. “We also suspended those who violated the policies. There is absolutely no room for bullying, hate speech or abuse on our platform as explicitly stated in our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
After getting wind of Kanye’s derogatory comments, Meek Mill hit back at the former billionaire on Twitter on Sunday, December 11, saying he still had his family, respect and sanity intact, unlike Mr West.
“I never lost my mind for fame or money…I still have my family…my people respect me,” he wrote. “I’m releasing people from jail…I’m doing community service all month with kids up close and personal…I’m relaxing with my son and his friends today…y’all are at the clubhouse at 50 lol.”
In another tweet, he added: “I mean 50 on the clubhouse drawing and not doing anything positive with you at that age is hittttt…you can be old or young at the clubhouse , it’s a place to connect!”

Meek Mill has made no secret of his disapproval of Kanye West’s recent antics. Shortly after Ye debuted his aforementioned ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt on his Yeezy Season 9 show in Paris, Meek accused the rap mogul of being anti-black in a scathing instagram story.
“I used to listen to you every night and get jailed for being motivated by God! and I came home and watched him shit on my name and brand like nothing,” a- he wrote alongside a clip of apparently dissident Kanye Meek for advocating for prison reform while rapping about “things that could get you locked up.”
“I say nothing.. but I knew you was on that nerd tryna shit on the street N-ggas you just said it to boosie.. it hurts my heart to even know some of you all so crazy and lame …i need ions no no-ggas verse because i’ve been sexy for 13 yrs @justinlaboy don’t invite me to any of them weird ass parties wit bro.
He added: “Speakin’ ’bout a nigga buyin’ support since he came out.. but what you doin’ for fame drives you crazy… look how you came to me, niggas know I’m talking , it’s like you hate your own people…you haven’t even posted @vory’s album after all that work he’s done for you and he looks up to you…you made sure to say that Jack Harlow was the hottest in Kentucky and had neglected east and vory.
Meek doubled down on Kanye’s criticism of his recent ‘God Did’ freestyle – from his flamerz 5 mixtape – accusing the embattled rap icon of selling out.
“I’ll never sell my soul for money like I’m Kanye / It’s crazy, I brought you to my cell on closing day / Famous bitches got my idols looking at me from the side / I don’t need verses from you niggas, I did it my way,” he rapped.
