Lizzo and Seth Meyers play Truth or Shot, leave inappropriate voicemails in hilarious ‘Day Drinking’

“You’re making fun of a lot of stupid — today,” Seth insults Lizzo, who replies, “Well…nothing.”

It’s always fun when Seth Meyers invites one of his famous friends over to go “Day Drinking” on “Late Night,” but we’re not sure it’s ever been funnier than when he and Lizzo totally had a blast. together.

Seth and the “About Damn Time” singer took turns playing various games that invariably ended up taking pictures, but it was the slow descent into madness and laughter that made this segment one of the things the funniest we’ve seen all year.

Their first game was all about Lizzo’s fashion, with Seth showing her various outfits. If she could remember where she carried him, he would drink. Otherwise, the next blow was his.

We loved his response when he asked her how she could remember where she wore a dress, with her deadpan, “I was there.”

It created an off-the-cuff moment when Seth shared that Lizzo thought one of her writers was Paul Rudd because he always wore a mask. We admit it, we can kinda see it in the eye and Lizzo was right that Paul would totally play this prank.

Seth decided it would be a lot more fun to wait until the end of the segment to unmask this “Paul Rudd” — Scooby-Doo style — to capture Lizzo’s reaction after a day of drinking. Boy, was that the right choice!

During the usual segment where Seth creates gruesome concoctions by mixing random drinks inspired by something to do with his fellow daytime drinker, he learned a little something from Lizzo, namely how to “stir the bag”.

It turns out that if you land a box win and pull the bag out, you then slap the bag and pull it out of the tap. Let’s just say Seth put some wine on himself, and then Lizzo made it clear that it wasn’t his first fuss (as Seth pointed out).

During a game inspired by his song “Truth Hurts”, they basically skipped the challenge and played Truth or Shot. That meant Lizzo had to answer questions like the most absurd request to her date and the most overrated artist in music. Seth was asked about the most famous penis he’s ever seen.

Honestly, at this point, they were both so hammered no matter what was happening because it was hilarious. We already knew that Seth was a very stupid drunk, but it turns out that Lizzo is just as stupid and maybe even more giggly.

We weren’t prepared for Seth to randomly decide that the best thing to do when they’re both three-leaf in the wind is to leave a voicemail for his dad. Let’s just say he had to call back and apologize for what it was!

We’d be lying if we said our jaws didn’t hurt a little from laughing with all the absurdity, which reached new heights when Seth presented a new segment that he admitted to being “fuckin’ dumb; it’s the dumbest one we’ve ever done.”

Dubbed “Nog Nog Jokes”, this game required Seth to ask an eggnog-themed joke. If Lizzo was laughing, she was drinking. Otherwise, he did. Lizzo felt confident, but Seth reminded her, “You’re kidding a lot of assholes today.”

“Well,” Lizzo said with a pause, before nailing the touchdown adding, “You’re welcome.”

We haven’t stopped laughing since the start of this game through their fake breakup storylines and dramatic “Paul Rudd” reveal, and we’re still laughing just thinking about it all. This might just be the funniest 17 minutes you’ll experience all year!
