Emma Thompson, who stars in Netflix’s “Matilda the Musical,” recently told USA TODAY what she loves most about Christmas.
“I love everything,” Thompson says. “I like to decorate the tree. I like to sing carols. I like to go to carol services. I’m going to do a reading at Westminster Abbey (in London). There’s no not much about Christmas that I don’t like.”
Her husband, actor Greg Wise, meanwhile, would rather avoid the Christmas festivities altogether: “He’d rather go somewhere else,” jokes Thompson. “A cave, basically. Undecorated.”
