Lindsay Lohan isn’t just making an acting/movie comeback, but a style one too! The terrible friday alum, 36, graced his first red carpet in years for the New York screening of his upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, Down for Christmas last week, and broke the internet in the process. Lohan made a stunning appearance at the event in a sheer, long-sleeved, full-length Valentino gown that featured shimmering appliqué detailing and a beautiful floral print.

The mean girls The actress stepped out in silver peep-toe pumps and accessorized her figure-hugging sheer dress with a matching handbag, and dazzled her look even more with sparkly rings and sparkling diamond earrings. Lohan tied her signature long red tresses into a sleek, slicked-back high ponytail and brought her husband, Bader Shammas, as a date (they tied the knot earlier this summer). As for her makeup, Lohan opted for a fiery smokey eye, sky-high lashes, highlighted cheekbones, a touch of pink blush, and a glossy pink lip to pull it all together.

Lohan’s latest project after a hiatus of several years, Fall for Christmasalso stars Joy‘s Chord Overstreet, and its plot centers on a newly engaged heiress who suffers a skiing accident a few days before Christmas, and is later diagnosed with amnesia. Lohan’s character eventually finds herself cared for by a handsome cabin owner (played by Overstreet) and his daughter.

In multiple posts for her 11.6 million subscribers, Lohan shared her premiere set, along with trailers to promote her new movie (which can now be streamed via Netflix). Many of his fans have taken to his comments section to not only elevate his look but also to praise his long-awaited return to acting. “I’m proud of you! I told you so much as a young girl with a parental trap and mean daughters,” one user wrote, adding, “I know you’ve been through a tough time in your life and you bounced back with grace and style. You look gorgeous and I hope you’re proud of where you are in life. Another called her “beautiful” while someone else wrote that she “killed her” in the Valentino dress.

Lohan’s celebrity pals also left supportive comments under her recent Instagram posts, with Jamie Lee Curtis writing, “Hey there GORGEY GIRL” and Paris Hilton leaving a heart-eyes emoji. Rita Ora added, “Wow!” with a raised hands emoji to congratulate Lohan.

Lohan’s Upcoming Projects

Lohan has also signed another upcoming Netflix movie called Irish Wish, a fantasy romantic comedy slated for release in 2023. According to Variety, the plot is as follows; “The film centers on Lohan’s character, Maddie, who must put aside her feelings when the love of her life becomes engaged to another woman…who happens to be her best friend. Days before the couple are to be married in Ireland, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her true soul mate is someone else.
