At the 2022 Grammys on Sunday, April 3, the fashion didn’t stop once the red carpet was rolled up.

In fact, for some of the evening’s best-dressed names — like Megan Thee Stallion, Tiffany Haddish and Lady Gaga — one great getup simply wasn’t enough.

Megan Thee Stallion

After taking a walk on the wild side in animal-print Roberto Cavalli on the red carpet, the “Thot S–t” hitmaker changed into an equally sexy black cutout creation from Mônot. Later in the evening, she had a matching moment with Dua Lipa in a safety-pinned, slit-up-to-there Versace dress styled with latex leggings.

Lady Gaga

Gaga stole our hearts in a gaggle of Old Hollywood-inspired outfits on Grammys night, kicking things off in black-and-white Armani Privé paired with blinding Tiffany & Co. jewels. To perform a solo mashup of her duets with Tony Bennett, she donned a bow-bedecked Elie Saab Haute Couture gown in a pretty shade of robin’s egg blue, followed by a feathery mint frock from Topo Studio — the label designed by her sister, Natali Germanotta — for the rest of the ceremony.

Saweetie

Talk about a quick change! Halfway through the red carpet, the “Best Friend” rapper swapped her hot pink Valentino Haute Couture two-piece look for a glam Oscar de la Renta gown with a voluminous bubble skirt. And for the ceremony, she slipped into a nude embellished number by Etro with sexy side cutouts.

Doja Cat

The “Say So” songstress started out her night in a sheer, shimmering Atelier Versace gown in mint green, later switching it for a sparkling blush halter dress from the same fashion house. She even traded her platinum blond locks for a darker ‘do for look No. 2!

From prom queen to pop-punk princess: The first-time Grammy winner graced the carpet in a trompe l’oeil Vivienne Westwood gown teamed with opera gloves and two chokers, and later performed her hit tune “Drivers License” in a white ruffled Givenchy mini styled with Wolford fishnets, combat boots — and even more chokers.

Carrie Underwood

After walking the red carpet in a gold Dolce & Gabbana gown with a dramatic full skirt, the country crooner changed into a short and sparkly LBD from the fashion house. Then, to perform her song “Ghost Story” during the ceremony, she flaunted her famous legs in a purple Afffair frock with a billowing cape.

Lenny Kravitz

Leave it to Lenny to rock out in three different leather looks in one night. After hitting the carpet in second-skin pants paired with one of Natalia Fedner’s signature metal mesh creations — a caped halter top, to be precise — the “Fly Away” crooner took the stage in a custom bronze leather Chrome Hearts jumpsuit topped with a metal shoulder piece, also by Fedner. He ended the evening in a black satin blazer and his trusty leather trousers, this time styled with tall leopard-print boots for a dose of extra drama.

The “Cravings” cookbook author brought big Barbie energy to the red carpet in bright pink Nicole + Felicia Couture; once inside, she swapped her strapless ballgown for a sexy, shimmering George Hobeika Couture design with feathery sleeves in the same hot hue.

The night’s biggest winner — who took home five trophies in total, including Album of the Year — had almost as many outfits planned for the evening. After hitting the red carpet in a harlequin-patterned sequined suit by Dolce & Gabbana, he performed in a dramatic cloak layered over a pale blue metallic suit from the Italian label. At night’s end, the multitalented musician celebrated in an Alexander McQueen cape dripping with chandelier-style crystals.

But nobody could top the “Montero” rapper’s five — count ’em, five outfit changes, all created in collaboration with Balmain. After dazzling in a white pearl-encrusted ensemble on the carpet, the style star incorporated a trio of looks into his performance, including an embellished military-style suit, a blinged-out crop top and a logo-printed cape. A black suit with gold armor-like details closed out his fashion parade.
